GETTING TO KNOW THE DIFFERENT FIELDS OF THE MEDIATING COMMUNICATOR

The Communication Mediation cycle has been in Santander. There we visited IES Santa Clara, FESCAN and ASS Cantabria. The aim was to learn about the different areas of communication mediation, a very enriching and great visit! Thank you very much to all of you!

Visit to the students of the Machinery Electromechanics cycle

The teachers of the Machinery Electromechanics cycle are in the company LAMUSA in Vitoria-Gasteiz making the corresponding visit to the students who have done the FCT. What an interesting world of machinery! For example, the tractor shown in the photo is able to identify the quality of the seed it receives; in addition to this, the amount of fertiliser to be applied to the soil can be programmed according to the location of the land. The Machinery Electromechanics cycle of the Automotive Department... going down interesting roads! ¡Aupa zuek!

Photovoltaic panels have been installed at MEKA Lanbide Eskola

The incorporation of renewable energy technology in the education sector is a step towards a sustainable future. The installation of solar panels in schools not only brings economic and environmental benefits, but also, indirectly, has a significant impact on the education of students.

School self-consumption with solar panels is a long-term investment that benefits both the organisation and the environment. In addition to the financial savings, self-consumption promotes energy independence and helps to reduce the school's carbon footprint. Through the European Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, funded by the European Union (NextGenerationEU) we have installed photovoltaic panels at the school.

Because MEKA Lanbide Eskola is committed to green and sustainable energy!

Erasmus+ enriches lives and opens minds

Several teachers from the Transversals department of Meka LHII in Elgoibar have participated in the Erasmus + programme by doing a job shadowing in Finland, together with another teacher of Vocational Training and Career Guidance from IES El Bohio in Cartagena.

Specifically, they have been in STEP-koulutus, a vocational training centre based in cities such as Järvenpää and Helsinky. The purpose of this mobility was to get to know the Finnish education system, particularly in terms of training for employment. As well as academic and professional orientation, digitalisation and the relationship of the educational centre with the entities and companies in which the students carry out their internships. The programme also includes education for immigrants and basic education for adults for their academic and employment integration.

Nursing assistants visit the sterilisation area of Mendaro Hospital!

During the last few weeks the nursing assistant students have visited the sterilisation centre of the Mendaro Hospital. In this way, they have understood much better the importance of cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation as well as the organisation.

We would like to thank the people in charge for their explanations and kindness!
